Individual Counseling
Individual counseling offers a supportive space to better understand yourself, your emotions, and the patterns that may be affecting your relationships and overall well-being.
My approach is primarily systemic, meaning we look at you within the context of your relationships, family, culture, environment, and life experiences. Together, we explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck and work toward creating meaningful and lasting change.
I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and somatic approaches into my work. CBT can help you identify and shift unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, while somatic practices help you connect with your body, regulate emotions, and develop a greater sense of safety and balance within your nervous system.
Counseling is tailored to your individual needs and may be helpful when navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, cultural or identity-related experiences, or simply a desire for greater self-understanding and personal growth.
Couple’s Counseling
Relationships can be deeply rewarding, but they can also bring challenges that are difficult to navigate on your own. Couples therapy provides a space to slow down, understand what is happening beneath recurring conflicts, and reconnect with one another in a more meaningful way.
I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that focuses on the emotional bond between partners. Together, we explore the patterns that develop between you, the emotions and needs underneath those patterns, and how you can create a stronger sense of safety, connection, and understanding in your relationship.
My work with couples is informed by a systemic and culturally sensitive perspective. This can be particularly important for intercultural and international couples, where differences in cultural background, values, communication styles, family expectations, or experiences of living abroad may become part of the relationship dynamic. Additionally, I draw from The Gottman Method, which provides practical, concrete tools to dismantle negative communication habits
Whether you are experiencing ongoing conflict, communication difficulties, emotional distance, or simply want to strengthen your relationship, couples therapy can provide an opportunity to better understand one another and build a more secure and connected partnership.
